Offering 7 and 12 day theatre tours through the heart of London’s electrifying theatre scene

Large West End productions,
the National Theatre,
Fringe productions,
Tour London Theatre covers them all.

Across 7, or 12 day trips, Tour London Theatre surrounds our guests in the world renowned theatre culture across London with a curated program designed to entertain and challenge. Navigated on this journey by your tour hosts, and featuring exclusive guest speakers moderated by The New York Times London theatre critic Matt Wolf, Tour London Theatre provides a truly unique and unparalleled immersion into the craft, mechanics, and soul of London’s passionate theatre tradition.

Our host hotel sits in the beating heart of London, surrounded on all sides by iconic landmarks and attractions to fill out your scheduled free time, allowing you the added freedom to create a genuinely personal trip. You won’t find a tour bus here, just the best theatre London has to offer, and exclusive conversations with the artisans who brought those productions to glowing life.

The theatre awaits, and the show must go on. All that’s missing is you.

What Is Tour London Theatre?

One of a Kind Guest Speakers

The New York Times theatre critic Matt Wolf brings his encyclopedic knowledge of theater to bear in our exclusive Q&A meetings with London’s top talents. Facts, anecdotes, and history flow out of Matt like water as he brings centuries of London theatre alive, setting the stage for our guest speakers.

If, as Shakespeare wrote, “The play’s the thing,” it is only due to the cunning skill of those people who bring it to life. And we get a front row seat to find out how a production is born out of that skill. Past guests have included Mark Gatiss, David Harewood, Oli Higgenson, Steven Moffat, Rebecca Frecknall, Nina Raine, Luke Thallon, and Liz Ascroft.

Incredible Accomodations in the Heart of London

2026 brings new and exciting hotel options to Tour London Theatre.

Our January trip nestles in the gorgeous 5 star The May Fair Hotel, on the bustling outskirts of Piccadilly. Run by some of our friends we’ve made in the Radisson family, The May Fair will have the benefit of feeling new and exciting, while also revisiting with familiar faces who have made tours past so memorable.

Our April tour makes ourselves at home with our new friends at the charming Montague on the Gardens, a Georgian Townhouse just around the corner from Russell Square. An easy cab, tube, or quick walk away from any theatre, this is where you’ll call home for your stay.

On either trip, our approach remains the same: Brilliant theatre, time to explore, and a sense of family and community. Come join us in the bar after our night’s production to discuss the play, share our days, and get to know the other guests on your tour with you.

A Rich Schedule With Plenty of Time to Explore!

Our 13 day tour is built with a balance of theatre immersion and free time in mind. What you do with that free time is up to you. We pride ourselves on providing an experience that is fulfilling, a blend of fun fare and evocative, emotionally challenging theatre. But we also know that every theatre-goer’s tastes are unique. That’s why we keep time free on our schedule to allow you to explore other theater that didn’t make our cut for the tour, or time to explore England and the neighboring Paris.

The tour program is for all of us, but the tour is yours! We invite you to explore.
